Hello! Any recommendations about that tone of Kirk first solo? I have starter gear but i am trying to make something as close as i can. Full Tremble Half Bass Scooped Mids , some chorus and some reverb is the best i could until now.

Dude you are nailing these Metallica jams, and I thank you for these lessons. I can remember those horrible tab books from the late 80's to 90's and knew somethn justa aint right with much of the tabs. Not sure why the Het doesnt like this, I think its a kick ass tune. And I also appreciate that you discuss the differences between album vs live 🤘

5:33 i have a hard time getting the other strings to stop from ringing when i play this section, don't know what i am doing wrong with this, as i am every trying my best to copy your hand positioning, but there is always some noise from the other strings.

1:21 can't do that fast bending lick smoothly. My bending has no force and I can t do it even at slow speed

This is beyond helpful. My guitar teacher tries hard to transcribe songs I want to play . I tried to learn to play the rhythm for this song last year but got frustrated because all the tabs he found was just missing something. You point out the muted strums AND that the timing switches to 6/4 in the verse! I checked and my music sheet is 4/4 and 2/4. That’s why it sounded off. I subscribed, saved and liked this video. My teacher will love that you’re counting the rhythm and providing tab. Thank you 🙏 I’m a 53 year old beginner with 4 years experience. I have tendon problems and carpal tunnel syndrome in my right wrist. Because of your video and tab, I have a great shot at playing the rhythm of a slower tempo Metallica song correctly. I can play this with a 2 finger power chord. Can’t wait for - For Whom The Bell Tolls. I’ll be watching for that!

Now you got it. Still very hard to make it sound clean and articulate like him at that speed. Congrats. By the way, I'm pretty sure that first bend is downwards, and it makes a difference, Chris bends down a lot on the G string.
